Travel & Transport
Buses
Public transport is available from the Village to both Leeds and to Harrogate as well as to Tadcaster, Wakefield and Otley. Click on the bus number to access a detailed timetable for the service
The 770 service connects to Leeds and Harrogate and runs approximately every thirty minutes during the day and hourly in the evenings and on Sundays. This service runs along Clifford Moor Road, the High Street and Bridge Road and links to Thorner, Bramham, Clifford, Thorp Arch and Walton. The service is provided by Harrogate & District

The 923 service, from Tadcaster to Otley via Wetherby and Harewood runs approximately every 90 minutes during daytime only on Monday to Saturday. It runs the length of the High Street to the A1 and then to Wetherby, Harewood and Otley. However the frequency and times of buses do change from time to time. The service is provided by Utopia Coaches

The 173/174 service from Wetherby to Wakefield runs approximately every 2 hours during daytime only on Monday to Saturday and links many of the villages en route so is quite slow taking approx 90 minutes for the whole journey. The service is provided by Arriva

Rail

Car
The village is well located for access to the national motorway network with a junction to the A1(M) just a mile to the west. In addition the Yorkshire Dales and many other areas of outstanding scenic and historic interest are but a short car journey away.
On Foot
The village has a number of footpaths within its boundaries and these link into a wider netwrok in the area as well as to some national paths such as the Ebor Way. Further details are given in the VILLAGE FACILITIES section
